Posted by Admin on 4/25/2017

You probably waste hundreds of dollars every year at the grocery store because of impulse buys—those weird things you think you MUST have. Here are 4 ways to fight the impulse and save cash.

  • Shop only once a week. Fewer trips mean less temptation.
  • Shop alone. This has been studied. If you take someone with you, you’ll buy 8% more unneeded items.
  • Don’t wander down unnecessary aisles. If you do, studies show you’ll buy 18% more unnecessary things.
  • Use one of those small shopping carts. Large carts entice you to load them up.
