Why Forbes Recognized Logix
The Forbes America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions ranking, developed in partnership with global research firm Statista, is now in its ninth year. It is widely regarded as one of the most trusted consumer-driven financial institution rankings in the U.S.
This year’s rankings were based on survey responses from more than 26,000 U.S. consumers, combined with over 1.2 million publicly available online reviews collected between February 2023 and March 2026.
Participants evaluated financial institutions based on key factors that matter most to members, like:
- Trust
- Customer service
- Digital services
- Financial advice
- Fee transparency
Survey responses accounted for 80% of each institution’s score, while online reviews made up the remaining 20%.
To ensure the rankings reflected a focus on community-based banking, eligibility excluded online-only institutions and was limited to those operating branches in 14 states or fewer, highlighting strong local relationships rather than national scale alone.
Out of thousands of eligible financial institutions, only 246 unique credit unions earned a spot on the list in one or more states.

According to the 2026 U.S. Credit Union Satisfaction Study by J.D. Power, overall satisfaction among credit union members remains higher than traditional banks, but has experienced slight declines in areas such as loyalty, communication, and members’ understanding of fee structures.

A Legacy of Trust Since 1937
Nearly nine decades ago, twelve Lockheed employees came together in a company breakroom during the Great Depression with a shared vision of helping coworkers achieve greater financial security through cooperation and trust.
That small credit union would eventually become Logix Federal Credit Union.
Today, Logix proudly serves more than 250,000 members, manages nearly $10 billion in assets, and continues to be one of Southern California’s largest and most trusted credit unions.
While much has shifted over the years, our commitment to putting our members first remains unchanged.
