We just had a toy drive and it was extraordinary.
Through our Logix Community Stars foundation (made up of Logix employee volunteers), one of the charities we feel privileged to support is Penny Lane Centers. This nonprofit organization provides support and care for thousands of abused and neglected children and their families throughout our local communities. This includes adoption and foster family services, affordable housing, and mental health services.
For the last several years, we’ve held a summer toy drive, where Logix employees collect and donate toys for Penny Lane Centers, which will be gifted to children of all ages over the holidays.
This year, the Logix Community Stars team planned a Pure Imagination toy drive, inspired by Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. They greeted employees at our chocolate factory aka donation site with candy and cookies, in decor form and the sweet, sugary kind. There were many “golden tickets,” zany riddles, and above all, employee hearts contributing in one way or another to this drive.
As a team, we collected over 100 toys and $900 for Penny Lane Centers!
