This program has been a game-changer for aspiring homeowners who’ve faced challenges saving for a down payment. While the program has reached capacity, we're constantly looking for new opportunities to help our members unlock the doors to their dream homes.
Breaking Down Barriers to Homeownership
The MDPA program addresses one of the most significant hurdles middle-income households face: the substantial down payment required to purchase a home. The MDPA program provided grants of up to $50,000 to eligible homebuyers. These grants could be used for down payment and closing costs, significantly reducing the upfront costs of purchasing a home. By providing grants to eligible homebuyers, programs like this helps make homeownership more accessible and affordable. We’re proud to have been selected by FHLB to participate in this incredible initiative, and we’re excited to keep exploring similar programs that help us make homeownership more accessible for our members.
